29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. On or about March 14, 2012, and times prior thereto, employees engaged in roofing activities on a low-sloped roof were not protected from falling. Sides and edges of roof were 10 to 12 feet above the ground. Employees were exposed to the hazard of falls.
