29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b) Note: If using these systems was infeasible or created a greater hazard, the employer should develop and implement a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a) 283 17th Avenue, Paterson, NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazard in excess of 25 feet while working on the roof of residential construction without use of guard rails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems, on or about 03/27/12. The company was previously cited for violation of equivalent Occupational and Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314676842, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 04/19/11, with respect to workplace at 1000 Sienna Village, Wayne, NJ. This citation became a final order on 5/20/11.
