Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a. On or about March 29, 2012, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing carpentry operations from the roof were exposed to falls, of seven (7') feet seven (7") inches, created by the presence of unprotected sides.    b. On or about March 29, 2012, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing supervisor duties from the roof were exposed to falls, of approximately  ten (10) feet, created by the presence of unprotected sides.
