Such work rests shall be kept a distance not to exceed 1/8 inch from the surface of the wheel. Boat Repair work bench area - Distance between tool rest and Abrasive wheel on the Sears Craftsman six inch bench grinder, Model # 152, was more than 1/8 of an inch.
