29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a) Eisenhower Hall Mechanical Room, prior to removal of metal ductwork: On or prior to 12/09/2011, employees of subcontractor Precision Facilities Corporation were not trained in the recognition and avoidance of jobsite hazards including, but not limited to: stability of the duct system being disassembled, safe work method(s) for removal of the duct system, work at elevated levels, use of personal protective equipment, and use of power/hand tools.
