29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):     "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On or about March 29, 2012 and at times prior thereto employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet while applying roofing shingles.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):     The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.    On or about March 30, 2012 and at times prior thereto employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet due to not being trained in how to recognize fall hazards and the procedures to follow to reduce or eliminate those hazards
