Hard service flexible cords No. 12 or larger may be repaired if spliced so that the splice retains the insulation, outer sheath properties, and usage characteristics of the cord being spliced. a) South side of building #4; employees used a portable Milwaukee saw, serial number 983C806350218 that was equipped with a frayed flexible cord, exposing the employee to electrical hazards.
