On or about 3/29/2012, West Cast House:  The dust collection system associated with the chip melter #2 was not designed to prevent or minimize damage that would occur in the event of a dust explosion, deflagration or fire.    Among other methods, a feasible abatement method to correct this hazard is to comply with NFPA 484 Standard for Combustible Metals, 2009.  Including but not limited to:         1) Keeping dry type collectors outside as referenced in Section 6.3.2.5.        2) Provide deflagration venting as referenced in Section 6.3.5.6.    Abatement documentation is required for this item.
