29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(2)(i): The employer did not exercise a due diligent attempt to inform employees and/or other employers about the presence or location of asbestos-containing material (ACM) and presumed asbestos-containing material (PACM): (a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATIONS AND/OR DEPARTMENTS) (DOCUMENT FAILURE TO EXERCISE DUE DILIGENCE.) NOTE: OTHER ACM IS ASPHALT FLOORING AND VINYL FLOORING MATERIAL INSTALLED NO LATER THAN 1980 AND OTHER INSTALLED MATERIALS THAT THE EMPLOYER WOULD HAVE IDENTIFIED AS ASBESTOS-CONTAINING IF THE EMPLOYER HAD EXERCISED DUE DILIGENCE. The inspection found that the company had not identified asbestos containing materials including white pipe wrap insulation in the tank farm. Contractor employees replaced sections of white pipe wrap insulation that may have contained asbestos.
