29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b): Note: The employer was following the old directive for residential construction by having slide guards placed at 8 foot intervals for the roof pitch of 8/12. On or about 04/03/12 during residential construction activities, the employer did not ensure employees used fall protection devices/systems while doing a roof tear off and exposed employees to a 12 foot fall.
