29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) On or about March 28, 2012, Williams Construction Corporation, as the controlling contractor, did not ensure that NDR Construction, Inc., a sub-contractor, protected their employees from eye injuries while using a circular saw to cut a 2 by 6 piece of wood without eye protection. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
