29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) 430 Linfield-Trappe Road, Worksite On or about March 30, 2012, employees are conducting masonry work on tubular welded frame scaffold, with a number of highly visible defects, but had not received training to enable them to recognize these hazards to prevent injury. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that the abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
