29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying hazards.) On or about April 4, 2012, the employer did not ensure that the job site was maintained in a safe manner and exposed employees to fall hazards and struck by hazards. THE EMPLOYER, PARKWAY CONSTRUCTION, WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 1926.20(b)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314274473, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOBER 13, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 300 E. I-20 SERVICE ROAD, ARLINGTON, TEXAS 76018.
