29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices,electronic safety devices, etc.    At the establishment, the employer did not provide adequate or no guards on the equipment listed below.  Employees  were exposed to rotating parts and caught in hazards:       (a)  The 80 Ton Rousselle Press #1 was not guarded on the backside and on right side end.     (b)  The Rousselle Press #2 was not gurarded on the backside.     (c)  The Rousselle Press #3 was not guarded on the backside.      (d)  The Big Ed press in the GDG area needed the bottom platen guarded.     (e)  The Big Ed press in Plant 2, need the bottom platen guarded.       (f)  The Stauder Router spindel nut was not guarded at the end of the shaft.      (g)  The Tahoe Thermoform machine needed the Rim Cock guarded.      (h)  The Boat Thermoform in Plant 2 needed the bottom platen guarded.     (i)    The Hartland Thermoform in Plant 2 needed the bottom platen guarded.
