29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system: a) Employees were not protected from falling while installing plywood sheets on the trusses of the site. Employees were exposed to falling up to 25ft to the ground below. K. T. Richards Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313934457, citation 1, item 002 and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2010 with respect to a workplace located at 9627 191st Street in Mokena, Illinois 60448. **In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.**
