29 CFR 1910.151(c):     Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.    At the Grit Blasting Area, in the building known as building Number 3, employees were exposed to eye injury in that an eye wash station was not provide while the employees were working with a corrosive known as FAST-CLAD ER Epoxy, which is used as an anti-corrosive protection coating for metals.    29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

Pulleys, any parts of which are seven (7) feet or less from the floor or working platform,shall be guarded in accordance with the standards specified in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section. Pulleys serving as balance wheels (e.g., punchpresses) on which the point of contact between belt and pulley is more than six feet six inches (6 ft. 6 in.) from the floor or platform may beguarded with a disk covering the spokes.    Employees in the Grit Blasting Area were exposed to amputation hazards in that the pulley on the sandblaster vacuum collector, located on the South side of building number three was inadequately guarded.     29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) abatement of the above violation was verified, no certification is required.
