29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet(1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provisionin paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: a) 2883 Kinzua Road, Warren, PA: On or about April 9, 2012, personnel were working on a roof of a residential house installing metal roofing sections. Workers on the roof were exposed to a fall hazard of at least 8 to 10-feet. Fall protection systems were not utilized to prevent personnel from falling from the roof to the ground.
