29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Workplace, stock area, northeast exit door (#1)- Stairway leading emergency exit door was blocked with unused shelving materials and electrical supplies. Outside the building the exit was obstructed by an employees' car which was parked in front of the exit door; on or about 04/18/12. b) Workplace, stock area, east exit door (#2)- Stairway leading to emergency exit door was blocked with cleaning and maintenance supplies; on or about 04/18/12. c) Workplace, stock area, southeast exit door (#3)- Aisle leading to emergency exit door was blocked with garbage and store merchandise. Stairs outside the exit were obstructed with overgrowth and debris; on or about 04/18/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
