29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Line 1: On or about March 25, 2012, and at times prior thereto, workers were exposed to an in-going nip point where the lower (return) portion of the WELLIVER DISCHARGE conveyor belt runs onto the end roller. Note: Abatement certification and documentation are NOT required for this item.
