29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. 283 2nd. Avenue, Avon By the Sea, NJ: An employee was not utilizing fall protection when preforming roofing activities from heights greater than 6 feet from the ground level. The employee was working at a height from the ground level ranging from approximately 14 feet to the eave of the residential structure, observed on or about 03/29/12. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
