29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet(1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: At the job site, employees removing pre-existing roofing material from a residential roof were wearing a personal fall arrest system. However, neither an anchor point was installed nor the lanyard was attached. No other form of conventional fall protection or in the alternative was in place. The ground to eave height was approximately 18 feet. The roof's slope was approximately 9:12. C & D Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in the OSHA Inspection 316090331, citation 1, item 2, which was issued on 01/8/12, and became a final order on 02/09/12.
