The employer uses chemicals such as, but not limited to, liquid bleach and muriatic acid to clean the motel rooms and perform laundry services.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Tiruphathi Corporation dba Double A Motel - On or about April 20, 2012, the employer did not provide information and training to employees in the safe handling and use of hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, liquid bleach and muriatic acid. Employees were not aware of the PPE requirements, first aid measures, and potential health effects of exposure to these chemicals.
