29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: This violation occurred on April 18, 2012, at a work place located at 1420 Eastgate Drive, Garland, TX; employees cleaning the roof were exposed to fall hazards up to approximately 22-feet to the lower level and were not protected by the use of a personal fall arrest system or safety net system.
