29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting: A. Wind Gap Plant - On or about 4/26/12, Where the employer had provided fire extinguishers in an establishment, the employer did not train employees in methods to fight the fires and hazards associated with fighting fires, or implement and evacuation plan for employees to exit the facility in the case of a fire. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
