29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c). The employer had not complied with the provisions of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i): a) 199 Cherry Hill Road, Parsippany, NJ. Subcontractor's employee was observed working in a excavation 7 feet 4 inches deep, 15 feet wide, and 20 feet long without any means of protection being provided, thereby exposing subcontrator's employee working inside the unproteced excavation to injury or death from a possible cave-in. Violation observed on or about 04/ 18/2012
