A daily inspection of an excavation that was 7 feet 4 inches deep, 15 feet wide, and 20 feet long and it's adjacent areas, was not made by a competent person for evidence of situations that could have resulted in cave-ins and other hazardous condition that were persent while an employee worked inside the unprotected excavation. Violation observed on or about 04/24/2012.
