29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a) Ramos Consulting LLC at 1270 and 1290 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80206: On April 25, 2012, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling off a roof during removal of roofing materials. One employee was observed dumping materials off the edge of the building without the use of any fall protection. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 28 foot fall. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1): Warning lines were not erected around all sides of the roof work area: (a) Ramos Consulting LLC at 1270 and 1290 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80206: On April 25, 2012, warning lines were not erected around all sides of the roof work area. A section of the warning line was missing on the north side of the building where employees dumped roofing materials off the side of the building. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 28 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
