On or about May 2, 2012 General Heating and Cooling Company, Inc. did not provide a competent person to inspect the work area for hazards associated with a construction job site.    Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.100(a):     Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets.    On or about May 2, 2012 employees were working below other employees tools and materials without hard hats exposing the employees to overhead struckby hazards.
