29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systsem: At this worksite, subcontractor employees installing all-weather barrier paper and painting the roof on the newly constructed building were not protected from the hazard of falling from a height greater than ten feet above ground level by a suitable means of fall protection such as but not limited to a full body harness with lanyard and anchor point or a guardrail system.
