29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb onthe edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. (a). Worksite located at Mo Highway 136 West, Stanberry, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that employees were standing on the guardrails as well as climbing out of the lift and on to the steel.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from anaerial lift.Note to paragraph (b)(2)(v): As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable aspart of a personal fall arrest system. The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under1926.502(e). (a). Worksite located at MO Highway 136 West, Stanberry, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working out of an aerial lift without the use of any means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Except as provided by paragraph (a)(3) of this section, each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level shall be protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems. (a). Worksite located at MO Highway 136 West, Stanberry, Missouri- An employee was perfoming steel erection activities while on top of the steel and was not protected from falling by the use of any means of fall protection.
