Tables are cleaned once a day at the end of the shift; on or about 5/3/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.1025(c)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period: a) Lead Grooming Area - Employees are exposed to airborne lead when sanding and grooming x-ray motor housings that are lined with lead. Personal air monitoring indicated that an employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average of 0.069 mg/m3 over 442 minutes of occupational exposure, which is 1.4 times the Permissible Exposure Limit; on or about 10/4/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

Personal air monitoring indicated that an employee was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average of 0.069 mg/m3 of lead over 442 minutes of occupational exposure, which is 1.4 times the Permissible Exposure Limit of 0.050 mg/m3; on or about 10/4/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
