29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 110 Eighth Avenue, Belmar, NJ 07719: On or about March 29, 2012, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in fiberglass decking work was protected from falling. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 20ft. THOMAS CLARK FIBERGLASS LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 1926.501(b)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315717009, CITATION 1, ITEM 1C, ISSUED ON 7/19/2011, FINAL ORDER DATE 8/11/11. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
