29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):   Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  The employer does not protect its employees from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system while employees are working from heights. This violation was observed on or about May 3, 2012, located at the work site at or about 2601 Spring Stuebner, Spring, TX, where an employee was exposed to an approximately 9 foot fall while installing flashing along the edge of the roof without a fall protection system.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are protected from falling to lower levels.
