29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, shall be guarded. The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. a) Production and Maintenance Areas: The drill presses the employees were using were not guarded. Employees operating the drill press were exposed to contact with the unguarded part of the equipment and/or amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Space about electric equipment. Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment. a) Production and Maintenance Areas - ELECTRICAL HAZARD. Equipment and material such as but not limited to boxes, pallet, aluminum shelves, microwaves were being stored in front of the 220, 240 and 480 volts electrical panel boxes creating direct access and working space for authorized personnel who are required to perform service or maintenance on the equipment. Employees were exposed to shock or burn hazards.
