No employee, or any material or equipment, may be supported or permitted to be supported on any portion of a pole structure, platform, ladder, walkway or other elevated structure or aerial device unless the employer ensures that the support structure is first inspected by a competent person and it is determined to be adequately strong, in good working condition and properly secured in place: JOB SITE: 992 Watts Acres Road, Robertsville, MO 63072, at this work site, the employer allowed a worker to climb up on a 20 foot Rohn Tower without first inspecting the tower and surrounding area to determine its stability, good working condition and properly anchored in place. The worker was exposed to a fall hazard.
