29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about 04/19/12 at 1425 Rocky Creek Rd., Macon, GA: Employees were exposed to caught between hazards while operating a baler at a supermarket. The employer failed to ensure that barrier guard on the baler was properly maintained. Sections of the baler's front barrier guard were damaged and missing.
