29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall be effectively closed. a) At the Boxmaker machine #1, a 220-volt emergency stop switchbox had a knock-out hole that was missing a cover, thereby exposing employees to electrical hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION NOT REQUIRED.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following: a) The employer had not established a written hazard communication program for employees exposed to hazardous substances, such as but not limited to printing ink (water-based), WD-40 silicon spray, propane gas and lubricating machine oil. Employees were potentially exposed to moderate skin, eye, and respiratory irritation. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED.
