29 CFR 1910.106(d)(2)(i):   Approved containers and portable tanks were not used:      (a)    In the wash area the safety container (oily waste can) approved for holding rags with flammable and combustible residue was being used for holding a flammable liquid, methyl ethyl ketone.        (b)    In the filling area the small plastic bottles used to dispense a flammable liquid, methyl ethyl ketone, were not approved flammable liquid containers.

29 CFR 1910.125(e)(1)(i):   All electrical wiring and equipment in each vapor area and any adjacent area did not conform to the applicable hazardous (classified)-area requirements of subpart S of this part (except as specifically permitted in paragraph (g):      (a)   In the wash area the inline duct fan, helping to exhaust methyl ethyl ketone vapors from the area, was not approved for this class 1 location.        (b)    In the wash area the fluorescent light fixture was within 20 feet of the vapor area of the dip tanks which contained methy ethyl ketone.
