29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system.     The employer does not protect employees from falling when working 6 feet or more above lower levels on a low sloped roof.  This violation was observed on or about May 10, 2012, on the slooped canapy of a Ace Hardware where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when removing roofing tiles without a pesonal fall arrest system.      The Tile Roofs of Texas was previously cited for ta violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 2/26/08, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311661326, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/23/2008, with respect to a workplace located at 81 Regency, The Woodlands, Texas.     For this citation item, the final order date was the date on which the case was closed by the area office after payment from employer on 6/23/2008.
