29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) PT2 Line - The employees were using an energized electrical junction box with 4 outlets (110 volts) which was not used in accordance with its listing and labeling. This violation was observed on or about May 2, 2012. b) Welders Station - The employee was not using a relocatable power tap in accordance with its listing and labeling. The relocatable power tap was being used as an extension cord to energize (110 volts) a DeWalt 4 inch angle grinder. This violation was observed on or about May 2, 2012. c) Battery pack recharging staion - The employees were not using a relocatable power tap in accordance with its listing and labeling. The relocatable power tap was being used as an extension cord to energize additional power strips which were being used to energize 21 battery pack rechargers, additionally the relocatable power tap was rated for 15 amps and each battery recharger uses 2.1 amps, thus overloading the relocatable power tap, exposing the employee to fire hazards. This violation was observed on or about May 2, 2012.
