29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a). Worksite located at 9955 E. 350 Highway, Raytown, Missouri- Employees were observed working and walking near an unprotected edge without the use of any means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1051(a): A stairway or ladder shall be provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist is provided. (a). Worksite located at 9955 E. 350 Highway, Raytown, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that employees were observed getting on and off a roof's edge without the use of a ladder.
