29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition wherever it was necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation or physical contact:  (a) At the project and at apartment buildings 1519 and 1521 on or about May 11, 2012, and at times prior thereto, appropriate personal protective equipment was not used when spraying in that employees used wrap around safety glasses instead of safety goggles when they sprayed and applied Kelly-Moore paints to the buildings.  The material safety data sheets for 1245Acry-Shield, 1786 DURA-POXY + ACRYLIC, 1250 Acry-Shield, and 1240 Acry-Shield said to wear approved safety goggles.
