Jamaica, NY Two Komatsu excavators were placed by the edge of the excavation 40 ft. x 12 ft. x 15 ft. in depth. Three employees working in an unprotected excavation were exposed to the hazard of cave-in. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
