OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards while transferring a chain saw (in operation) from one employee to another employee on different levels. a) On or about May 9, 2012, employer did not ensure that employees were protected from amputation hazards while transferring a chain saw from an employee on the ground to the employee on the aerial lift where the chain saw was in operation.
