29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(4):     Reusable containers for contaminated sharps were opened, emptied, or cleaned manually or in another manner which exposed employees to the risk of percutaneous injury:    a) In the lab, on or about April 20, 2012 and at times prior to, employees emptied small sharps containers by holding them up-side-down and shaking them over a larger container, which exposed employees to contaminated needles, resulting in a biological hazard.
