29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a. On or about May 14, 2012 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee conducting carpentry operations from a Gene Z-30/20N telescopic boom aerial lift was not wearing a body belt or full body harness, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with a fall of approximately seven (7) feet five (5) inches. THE IDEAL CONSTRUCTION CO. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.453(b)(2)(v), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312722135, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JANUARY 14, 2009 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2 E. ROOSEVELT RD. VILLA PARK, IL 60402.
