29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section:    a) 3001 Atlantic Brigantine, Boulevard, Brigantine, NJ 08203: On or about March 6, 2012, employees installing siding from a pump jack scaffold were not protected from falling. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 19ft.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATON FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.    a) 3001 Atlantic Brigantine Boulevard, Brigantine, NJ 08203: On or about May 8, 2012, employees were not trained in the recognition, avoidance and mitigation of hazards associated with pump-jack scaffolds.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
