OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about 05/15/2012, at 910 17th Street Fort Lauderdale Florida, an employee was operating a Riding Lawn Mower, for which the employee was not using the roll protection device (roll bar) or the seat belt, nor had the employee received operator training on the equipment per the manufacturer's requirements/operators manual. NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
