29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a)  200 Eton Row, Condo 2B, Weehawken, NJ at the ladder access to the 3rd floor level.    Employee was exposed to 11 foot falls to the concrete floor below as the ladder that was used to access the 3rd floor did so to a platform that was lacking guardrails or other forms of fall protection.    b)  200 Eton Row, Condo 2B, Weehawken, NJ at the ladder access to the 2nd floor level.    Subcontractor employees were exposed to 8 to 9 foot falls to the ground below as the ladder that was used to access the 2nd floor did so to a balcony that was lacking guardrails or other forms of fall protection.                                               Violation observed on or about 05/19/2012.    STEELRITE CONSTRUCTION USA, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312907140, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a, ISSUED ON 04/30/2009, FINAL ORDER DATE 05/21/2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2200 KERRIGAN AVENUE, UNION CITY, NJ.
