29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Employees performing maintenance operations in and around the new plater/steel shed plater were exposed to injurious corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, acids and caustic cleaning solutions and suitable facilities for drenching and flushing were not provided for immediate emergency use: 1. The eyewash on the operator's side of the new plater was connected after an acuator valve that stopped the water supply when the machine was shut down including when shutdown for maintenance activities. 2. The drench hoses provided in the pit at the new plater were not connected to a water supply.
